In that time we have designed trailers for all sorts of applications ranging from domestic to commercial and industrial trailers from 250Kg GVM up to 3500Kg GVM.
Today, we manufacture a large range of standard trailers, we also specialise in custom builds. If there happens to be something special you need, we can build to your requirements. We build a large range of enclosed trailers and can “custom” build to suit your application and finish to your specifications.
We are constantly reviewing product design both in house and from suppliers to make sure our trailers are the best on the market. We build top quality trailers with no compromise. We manufacture all our trailers in our South Auckland factory. We use NZ sourced components, New Zealand or Australian structural steel and all our trailers are hot dip galvanised……and, yes they are made for New Zealand conditions.
Our trailers are built to last. Many early domestic and commercial Reid Trailers from the 1960's onwards are still in very good condition with no obvious signs of damage. Although, the life of a trailer is largely dependent on how the trailer is maintained, even some of our older trailers have been on the road since the 1960's. In short, we don’t know exact shelf life of a Reid Trailer, but it’s at least 58 years and still counting.
Reid Trailers don’t often come up for resale with many customers preferring to keep them in the family. They are highly sought after and hold their value very well.
